Obituary

Bro. Andy Daniels Obituary 

 Samuel Andrew Daniels was born October, 5, 1928 in Davenport, Oklahoma to Sabatino "Sam" and Rosie Daniels.  He married Rita "Jackie" Daniels on September 25, 1949 in Perkins, Oklahoma.  

 Andy served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard, 45th Division and was deployed to Korea in 1950. He was honorably discharged as First Sergeant, May of 1952.  

 He was called to preach on December 31, 1956.  On December 20, 1973 they moved from Sterling City, Texas to Caney, Kansas where he served as Pastor of the First Southern Baptist Church until 2000.  They resided in Caney until the love of his life Jackie's death, in 2014. Then resided in Coffeyville, KS and cared for by the wonderful staff of Medical Lodges until his death.

 He enjoyed sharing the word of God, Writing Poetry as the S.A.D poet, watching boxing and doing wood carvings. 

 He is survived by two sons, Jeff of Rockwall, TX Danny and wife Debbie of Rural Havana, KS.  Three Grand Children and Six Great-Grand Children.  Jared, Matty, Beau and Andersyn of Brentwood, TN, Jordan, Abby, Alex, Houston and Dakota of Skiatook, OK and Katilyn, Shayne and Jaxxon of Rural Havana, KS. Two brothers Lowel Daniels and Marvin Daniels and one sister Onita Brown.  

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Cornerstone Church. Burial will follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery under the direction of the Potts Chapel.

 Visitation hours will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2020 at the Cornerstone Church. Friends may leave online condolences at www.pottsfuneralhome.com.

The family has suggested memorials to the Medicalodges in Coffeyville, Kansas and contributions may be left at the Potts Chapel.
