William 'Bill' Robison, 79, of Caney, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016, at his home.
William Amos Robison was born May 28, 1937, at rural Tyro, Kansas, the tenth of ten children to Neddie Jasper Robison and Ida Martha (Fuqua) Robison. He was raised in the Tyro/Caney area, attending schools nearby.
Billy was a veteran of the U.S. Army, 1960-1962, having served in the Panama Canal zone.
Billy never settled on any particular one career to call a steady vocation. He managed to work many jobs, learning many different trades, to include radio and TV repair. Working on cars and trucks was considered his life-long pleasure.

Survivors are his brother Dale Robison, Caney, and five sisters: Lola Gillham, Caney, Martha Fowler, Mechanicsville, Maryland, Clara Coltharp, Blackwell, Oklahoma, Virgie Allison, Coffeyville, Kansas, and Ruth Ann Hicks, Hot Springs, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers - Harry, Marion, and Charles; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Potts Chapel Funeral Home, Caney. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, November, 7, 2016, atFirst Christian Church, Caney, with Pastor Bill Wright officiating. Inurnment will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery, Caney.
