Sherry Beth Loop (Linn), 63, passed away on September 7, 2026.

Sherry was born January 6, 1963, in Sedan, Kansas, to Basil “Fred” Linn and Barbara Linn (Brown).

Sherry shared her life with her husband, Donald Richard Loop, and together they built a family that grew to include three daughters, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was a kind-hearted and caring woman who loved her family deeply, and few things brought her more happiness than being a grandmother and spoiling her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Richard Loop; her daughters, Beth Carter of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; Judy Croslin and husband Michael of Mustang, Oklahoma; and Brandy Loop of Caney, Kansas; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her sister, Julie Linn of Copan, Oklahoma.

Sherry had a creative spirit and loved working with her hands. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafts of all kinds, antiques, and collecting coins. Whether she was creating something, or discovering an old treasure, she found joy in the things that carried a story or could become something beautiful.

Those who loved Sherry will also remember her wonderfully extravagant birthday cards. She had a way of finding cards that were ridiculously over the top, making them impossible to forget and unmistakably Sherry. What might have seemed like a small gesture was another way she made sure the people she loved knew she was thinking about them.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Basil “Fred” Linn and Barbara Linn (Brown), and her sister, Joanna of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, who passed away just one day before her.

Sherry leaves behind generations of a family she loved and cared for deeply. Her memory will live on in the things she made, the gardens she tended, the treasures she collected, the traditions she created, and especially in the children and grandchildren she loved so much.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
