Rosetta Jeanne Holeman, 72, of Bartlesville, OK., passed away at her home on December 26, 2022.
Jeanne, as she preferred to be called, was born May 14, 1950, in Eureka, KS., to Thomas L. and Jesse C. (Hart) Holeman. She grew up and attended schools in Caney, KS., where she graduated from high school in 1968. Jeanne graduated from Coffeyville Community College in 1970 and transferred to Wichita State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Special Education. She taught in elementary schools in Hoxie and Sublette, KS., before returning to Caney.
She worked at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville for thirty-six years as a bookkeeper. She later worked for Sitel as a call center clerk until the time of her death.
Her hobby was shopping for many items she later gave to friends and family members.
She is survived by two brothers, Tom and wife Cheryle, of Broken Arrow, OK., and Bill and wife Terri, of Caney. Nephews; Roy Holeman and wife Sandy of Independence, KS., and Will Holeman of Caney. Two nieces; Laura Orr and husband, Eric, of Wichita, KS., and Jessica (Holeman) Davis and husband, Thomas of Chautauqua, KS.
Graveside services for Rosetta Jeanne Holeman will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney, KS. To leave the family a special message of condolence, please visit, www.pottsfuneralhome.com.
