Lois Gulick

Lois A. Gulick, of Caney, passed away Thursday, July 5th, 2018 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10:00am at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney, Kansas. Pastor Jerry Davison will be officiating. A book signing will be held at Potts Chapel in Caney, Friday, July 6th, 10:00am-4:00pm.
Lois A. Gulick was born on March 20, 1932 in Marion, Kansas. She was the daughter of Harold and Lola (Powell) Seibel. She grew up and graduated high school in Marion. On June 21, 1951 she married Calvin E. Gulick. They made their home in Caney. Calvin preceded her in death in 2012.
She was a nurse and an administrator for several nursing homes including Caney, Fredonia, and Neodesha.
Lois loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending her birthdays and anniversaries playing at the casino.
Proceeding her in death are her parents, husband, son Larry Gulick, granddaughter Melanie Gulick, grandson Garold Shafer, and great-granddaughter Madeline Gulick.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Harold Gulick, Gary Gulick, Mike Gulick, Ruth Shafer, Mary Mishler and Rocky Gulick, 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
