Linda Davis

Linda Ladene (Deckard) Davis of Caney, Kansas passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 76 at Guest Home Estates.

Linda was born on February 12, 1944 to Elmer Claude “Doug” and Verna Faye (Jones) Deckard in Tulsa, OK. Linda loved God and served him faithfully her entire life. She believed God healed her when she was a child from Polio. When she was able to walk, she knew at a young age that a miracle had happened. Linda was a longtime resident of Caney, and often helped serve at the community food bank and the thrift store. She had a passion for music, animals and flowers. She dearly missed her garden. She cared about her friends and family, she always made time to check in on them.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Davis Sr., stepson, Larry Davis Jr., and sister, Aneta Deckard West.

Linda is survived by her brother, Larry Deckard of Tulsa, OK, stepson, Kelly Davis of Camden, SC, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Linda’s life will take place at Hope Church, 301 N.
