Garald Clift Sr.

Garald Lawrence Clift Sr. known by most as Gary, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Caney, Kansas on Monday, January 24, 2022.

Gary was born on October 14, 1949 in Wichita, Kansas to Gerald Clift Sr and Laura Thackett. He grew up in the Wichita, Kansas and Huntington Beach, California areas. After graduating high school, Gary entered the United States Army and retired in 1992. In the Army, Gary was a computer specialist. On December 10, 1971, Gary married Shirley Renn in Huntington Beach, California. The two enjoyed 44 wonderful years until her passing on July 4, 2016. Gary enjoyed doing word search puzzles and bead work, making a variety of baskets and trees.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Laura Clift, wife, Shirley and brother, Gerald Clift Jr.

His memory will carry on with his sons, Gary Clift Jr. and wife Chrismas Carroll of Caney, KS, and Jerry and wife Regina Clift of Skiatook, OK, brothers, Robert and wife Marie Clift of Florida, and Mike and wife Kathy Boehmer of Wisconsin, and grandchildren, Ashley and Samantha Clift both of Stillwater, OK, and Carmen Jauregui of Tulsa, OK, and one great grandchild, Renesmae Clift.
