Dorothy Dean Lumley, passed away on January 29, 2024. Dorothy was born on September 20, 1925 to James and Martha Ledbetter in Wauneta, Kansas.

She married James Lumley Sr. on November 11, 1945 in Sedan Kansas. The two had one son, James Lumley Jr.

Dorothy found her calling in education molding young minds as a teacher in Coffeyville for many years.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Sr., son James Jr, seven brothers and four sisters.

Graveside services for Dorothy will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Fairview Cemetery in Niotaze, Kansas at 1p.m.
