Donald Beasley

Monday, April 13, 2020, Donnie passed away with his wife by his side. Services will be held Monday, April 20th at 2581 Gallop RD, Peru, KS. Visitation will be at 2524 Hwy 166 the 17th through the 19th. The home is open to greet the family and sign the guest book.

Donnie was born October 6, 1963 in Sedan, KS to Jim and Betty (Wall) Beasley. Donnie was raised and went to school in Sedan.

December 11, 1987 Donnie married the love of his life, Marna Hartness. He was a heavy equipment operator on the pipeline his entire adult life and took his family with him whenever he could. When he was home you could always find him doing mechanic work in his garage while friends came to keep him company or fishing on a riverbank. He was a long-time member of the Peru Anointed Zion Church and the Operators Union.

Donnie is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Eunice Beasley, Leo and Dorothy Wall and his father-in-law, Owen Hartness.

He leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Marna. Daughters Chelsea (Cody) Bracken and Afton (Kody) Gorby and his son, Cort Beasley. Three grandchildren, Fallon Bracken, Olivia Bracken and Rance Gorby. Mother and father, Jim and Betty Beasley, sister Brenda and brother Gerald. Mother-in-law, Janelle Hartness. Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and many friends.
