Andrew John Haughn, age 37 of Caney passed away at his home on Thursday, December 14th, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.

A.J. was born on May 10, 1986, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to John and Dale (White) Haughn. A.J. grew up in Caney and graduated from Caney Valley High School in 2005. A.J. was a Jack of all trades. There wasn’t much he couldn’t do. A.J. was a hard worker and spent countless hours helping others work on repairs to their homes, and caring for their lawns. A.J. loved to spend time outdoors fishing and hanging out with friends and family around a bonfire, telling stories and laughing.

He is preceded in death by his father, John. He is survived by his mother Dale Marie, three sisters, Shanna Fletcher and husband Wayne, Kristy Haughn, Amber Scimeca and husband George, fiancée, Harley Dean, three sons, John Lee, Judd and Jett, numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Potts Chapel and a Celebration of A.J.’s Life will be held at Potts Chapel in Caney at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 12, 2024. To leave the family a special message of condolence, please visit, www.pottsfuneralhome.com.

Memorial contributions can be made to the A.J. Haughn Memorial Fund at any Community National Bank and Trust to help the family offset funeral expenses.
